PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently reduce a rotational load of a turbine rotor, and also improve power generation capacity of rotary electric machinery by arranging load reducing means which can reduce the rotational load of the turbine rotor by variably controlling a clearance between a rotor blade of a compressor rotor and a housing. SOLUTION: When rotary electric machinery is actuated as an electric motor, a directional control valve 9 exists in a second position to open an adjusting chamber 21 to the atmosphere by a controller 4, and a clearance adjusting member 18 is energized by a spring 19, and a clearance C between a blade of a compressor rotor 12 and a housing is held at its minimum. An operation condition of an engine becomes a condition of not requiring supercharging, and when the rotary electric machinery is actuated as an electric motor, the directional control valve 9 is switched to a first position to communicate the adjusting chamber 21 with an intake pipe by the controller 4, and the clearance adjusting member 18 slidingly moves to the adjusting chamber 21 side against energizing force of a spring 19, and the clearance C between the compressor rotor 12 and the blade becomes large, and supercharging capacity by the compressor rotor 12 reduces. |
