PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cement compsn. excellent in flowability and giving a cement hardened body having enhanced physical properties such as strength and excellent in water resistance by adding a specified (co)polymer to cement and aggregate. SOLUTION: This cement compsn. contains a (co)polymer obtd. by drying a synthetic emulsion resin prepd. by emulsion polymn. The (co)polymer can be emulsified again in water of >=pH5 in the form of fine particles similar to the original synthetic emulsion resin particles. The (co)polymer has a core- shell structure consisting of a core contg. 0-40wt.% ethylenic unsatd. monomer having a pendant group represented by formula I or II and a shell coating the surface of the core and contg. 20-100wt.% of the ethylenic unsatd. monomer. In the formula I, each of R<1> and R<2> is H, a 1-12C alkyl, etc. In the formula II, R<3> is a 1-30C alkylene, etc. The monomer is especially preferably methacrylamide or hydroxyethyl methacrylate. |
