PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide a lot of Fuscopia obliqua (Fr.) Aoshima having anti-AIDS activity and antimicrobe activity by planting the seeds of previously cultured Fuscopia obliqua (Fr.) Aoshima on a specified liquid culture medium and performing the liquid culture of Fuscopia obliqua (Fr.) Aoshima by processing the seeds on specified conditions. SOLUTION: The seeds of previously cultured Fuscopia obliqua (Fr.) Aoshima is planted in the liquid culture medium constituted by mixing peptone, yeast extract, malt and carbon source such as glucose into a solution composed of water such as tapped water or underground water and phosphoric acid buffer liquid, spawns are grown by leaving the seeds at a temperature from 20 deg.C to 30 deg.C and performing culture for a period of 100 days or longer, and the liquid culture of Fuscopia obliqua (Fr.) Aoshima is performed by extracting an effective component formed in the spawns and an effective component secreted from the spawns in the liquid culture medium. In this case, it is preferable that the water to be used is obtained from melted snow in the Nayoro region of Hokkaido island and the liquid culture medium contains malt extract of 5 to 15g, glucose of 5 to 15g, peptone of 1 to 6g and yeast extract of 1 to 6g per 1L which is composed of 900ml water and 100ml phosphate buffer. |
