PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrophilic membrane material made of fluorine- containing resin for building, which can prevent of condensed water droplet from dropping. SOLUTION: The hydrophilic membrane material made of fluorine-containing resin for building comprises a base material obtained by impregnating heat resistant woven fabric with first fluorine-containing resin made of polytetrafluoroethylene resin and baking it, and a hydrophilic layer formed of mixture containing at least one type of second fluorine-containing resin selected from a group consisting of tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer and tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoro (alkylvinylether) copolymer and hydrophilic silicon compound particles each having mean primary particle size of 1μm or less in such a manner that the hydrophilic layer exhibits maximum isopropyl alcohol diffusion diameter of 15mm or more.
