PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation system, less in power consumption, capable of eliminating the need of special knowledge for cultivation, enabling even a quite general cultivating person to easily cultivate various plants in an optimum state and cultivating even the plant originally difficult to be cultivated in its own way, depending on the kind of an artificial light source. SOLUTION: The plant cultivation device of this plant cultivation system is provided with a container 1 for housing the plant, the artificial light source provided inside the container 1 for irradiating the plant with light, a light control means 3 for controlling the light irradiation time of the artificial light source corresponding to the kind and cultivation time period of the plant, a first reception means 27 for receiving control data to be supplied to the light control means 3 from a central management device, a first storage means 26 for storing the control data received by the first reception means 27 and a device control means 24 for reading the control data stored in the first storage means 26 and sending them to the light control means 3. |
