<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structure which makes it possible to reduce the number of joints of roof surface materials and thereby minimize on site work and transport members used for the roof surfaces. SOLUTION: A gable roof 4 formed on a unit type building 1 is formed by including a ridge side roof surface material 41 extending downward from a ridge side 4A and an eaves side roof, surface material 43 extending upward from the edge side of eaves 4B while the lower part of the roof surface material on the eaves side 4B is mounted on a roof surface 32A of a trapezoidal unit 32 while the upper edge 43A extends to a part higher than the upper end edge 32B of the slope surface 32A and is connected to the lower end edge 41A of the roof surface material 41 on the ridge side. Since the roof surface material 43 on the eaves side extends upward, no joint of the roof surface material is produced near the slope surface 32A of the trapezoidal unit 32.</p> |
