PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dwarfing treatment of lawn grass which does not affect environment and dwarfed lawn grass. SOLUTION: This method for the dwarfing treatment of the lawn grass consists in transducing the homeo box genes included in rice by using bacteria into the seeds of the lawn grass. The dwarfed lawn grass is formed by planting and growing the seeds of the lawn grass transduced with the homeo box genes by using the bacteria.
