<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a heating property by appropirately reducing rubber thickness in an area radially inward from a tire maximum width point, and improve durability of beads by dispersing bending distortion, generated to a tire, to the whole above-mentioned area without concentrating it so as to be relaxed. SOLUTION: In the standard state of a tire mounted to a normal rim and charged with normal internal pressure, the outline of the tire outer surface between a tire maximum width point P1 and a lower point P3 leading to a flange of the rim is provided with an outward swollen side wall lower area S1 formed of a circular arc E1 with a radius of curvature R1 with its center on an axial line passing the tire maximum width point P1, and an inward swollen bead upper area S2 with a recessed part 12. A curve of the bead upper area S2 is extended in line with the recessed part 12 passing more on the inner side in the axial direction of the tire than a circular arc extension line E1a extended in the same circular arc as the circular arc E1 from an inner point P2. Rubber thickness between the tire outer surface and a body part 6A of a carcass ply 6 on the outermost side in the axial direction of the tire is increased gradually from rubber thickness T1 of the tire maximum width point P1 toward rubber thickness T2 of the inner point P2.</p> |
