SOLUTION: In a belt drive device in which an endless belt hung over to plural rollers is driven by a drive roller which is one of plural rollers, a hard and tough mineral minute particle is stuck on the surface of the drive roller. It is preferable that this minute particle is a diamond particle 52 and its grain diameter is 30μm-100μm. The diamond particle 52 is stuck by a nickel plating 53. Further, the material of a belt is a polyamide.
