Preparation of dicarboximides (IV) and their intermediate N-carbamoyl derivatives particularly delta4-cis-cyclohexene-1,2-dicarboximide Raticides. Reaction of N-carbamoyl-delta4-cis-cyclohexene-1,2-dicarboximide with acids, bases or nucleophilic reagents, such as C1-4 alcohols, primary and secondary amines, below 30 deg.C or alternatively in the presence of a weak base, such as pyridine, above 70 deg.C. 7-(diphenyl-methylene)-5-norbornene - 2,3-dicarboximide. |
