FIELD: production of protective coatings on the base of nickel and comprising ferrum and tungsten. SUBSTANCE: method for production of protective coating of unheated electrolyte is proposed, thus corrosion resistance of coating is increased. Desired coating comprises, mas. %: ferrum, 7-12, tungsten, 15-65, nickel, the balance. Said coating is prepared of electrolyte which comprises, g/l: nickel sulfate, 25-35; nickel chloride, 3-5; ferrum sulfate, 3-10; sodium tungstate, 8-50; sodium citrate, 25-150; boric acid, 5-8; magnesium sulfate, 20-25. Precipitation is carried out when acidity of electrolyte is 6.0-7.0, temperature of electrolyte being 18-22 C, cathode density of current being 3-10 mA/cm .
