FIELD: equipment for thermal treatment of materials. SUBSTANCE: drier has rotating housing with thermal members, charging and discharge devices, thermal member fixed within rotating drum on frame so that angle of inclination of thermal member may be adjusted. Location of thermal member is selected within sector where material is placed, when heat energy is used. In case radiant energy is employed, thermal member is mounted above material under treatment. EFFECT: increased heat efficiency, simplified construction of drier and optimum operating conditions. 3 cl, 1 dwgn
