METHOD OF MASTITIS PROPHYLAXIS

FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: method involves intracisternal administration of staphylococcus antigen (dose is 0.9-1.0 ml) obtained from udder secret of cows with mastitis and containing staphylococci separately or in combination with streptococcus anatoxin at ratio 1:1. Anatoxin is administrated in infected one-quarter of cow udder. Method provides the formation of local immunity of udder to pathogenic and nonpathogenic staphylococci and streptococci.
