What is described is an apparatus for needling a pre-consolidated nonwoven web 5, with at least one needle board 2 capable of being driven back and forth in the pricking direction, with a stitch base 6 located opposite the needle board 2, with continuously driven entry rollers 8 preceding the stitch base 6 in the nonwoven run-through direction, and with continuously driven take-up rollers 9 which follow the stitch base 6 at a distance from the latter and between which and the stitch base 6 there is provided at least one blowing nozzle 11, inclined at an acute angle to the nonwoven web 5, for a flow component running in the take-up direction and exceeding the take-up speed of the take-up rollers 9. In order to provide advantageous design conditions, it is proposed that at least one further blowing nozzle 12 oriented transversely to the nonwoven web 5 be arranged between the entry rollers 8 and the stitch base 6, in the region of a free nonwoven web guide 13 and on that side of the nonwoven web 5 which is located opposite the stitch base 6. |
