PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil for plant cultivation which is usable in place of usual soil and is also usable by being mixed with the usual soil. SOLUTION: This granulating material for plant cultivation is a sludge cake discharged in the manufacturing process of a wood chip product and has a high content of nitrogen component. Further, this granurating material (2mm to 10mm) is usable as a mixture with the soil, and furthermore, the granulating material may contain at least one of sawdust, peat moss or a resin foam. This sludge cake, as an example, contains moisture of 88.1% and a solid content of 11.9%. Further, it contains an organic component of 87% and an inorganic component of 13% in the solid component, respectively. |
