FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to dome-like light-transparent coverings and it can be used in construction of exhibition pavilions and other similar structures. Design of sectional construction shell is of multiple-face type which is made up of decagonal and dodecagonal flat three-layer load-bearing panels having connecting inserts on sides which are alternating, and triangular light-transparent panels. Dome panels are connected in pairs by their sides by means of connecting inserts which are located between sheetings of panels. Light-transparent load-bearing panels fill triangular hollows which are created between sides of load-bearing panels. Aforesaid design of sectional construction shell allows for simplification of erection and for shortening of erection time. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg0
