The Advent calendar is constituted a display box (8) containing 24 individual containers (2) which are numbered 1 to 24. Each container is constituted by two interlocking half shells. They are opaque enabling the hiding of the packaged object in order to produce a surprise. Each container comprises a fastening loop (3) enabling their fixing or their suspension on a support such as a Christmas tree.
