摘要 The arrangement generates a laser beam (2) which can be directed to the region of the object to be illuminated or, by suitable positioning of the mirror (5), to a different absorbing region (7). When the laser beam is incident on a surface it produces a square centimetre area of homogeneous power density distribution. The arrangement contains a bistable mirror, in the form of a digital micromirror device (DMD), which deflects the laser beam. Variable micro-mirrors deflect the beam to form individual beams (3"), each corresponding to one pixel on the region of the object to be illuminated, or to fall on an absorber region not related to the illuminated region.
