The invention concerns a method for making an expanded material in granulated form, from glass, in particular recuperated glass, comprising the following steps: mixing the glass powder and aluminium nitride powder (AlN) with a binder; granulating the mixture; and calcining the granules at a temperature ranging between 700 and 1200 DEG C.
