The invention relates to a material for renovating or repairing objects, comprising a knit of strengthening material which is optionally already coated or impregnated with a curable synthetic resin. The invention is particularly applicable when the object for renovating or repairing is a pipe and in the ready-to-use state the knit likewise has a tubular form. The material can further comprise one or more layers of an elastic foil. A tube shape for instance can hereby be made to fit well more easily by being inflated or filled with a fluid. The invention further relates to a renovating or repair method and a device for manufacturing a tubular renovation and repair material.
