Sensor line, for detection of a medium along a path section, comprises a medium impermeable material with one or more wall openings provided with a porous sintered body of medium permeable material. The novelty is that a gas permeable, dust retaining layer is applied on the sintered body. Preferably, the layer comprises an up to 100 mu m thick plastic (especially, 'Teflon', RTM) foil that may contain micro cracks and may be applied by vapour deposition.
