<p>A fluid temperature control device, which is highly accurate in temperature control and also high in thermal responsiveness, and a method therefor. In a heat exchanger (2), a fluid being subjected to temperture control flows inside a container (21) is cooled by a cooling liquid, which flows outside the container (21) and is heated by a heating lamp (25) disposed centrally of the container (21). When the fluid is to be cooled, an overall amount of cooling is controlled by passing the cooling liquid, a flow rate of which gives a somewhat larger amount of cooling than is required and lighting the heating lamp (25) and controlling with a heating amount of the lamp. Cooling is started by beforehand passing the cooling liquid and lighting the heating lamp in an amount, which cancels an amount of cooling, before cooling is needed, and reducing an output of the lamp by a required amount of cooling after cooling is needed.</p> |
