A lock device, in particular for an all-glass door, said lock device arranged to receive a lock cylinder (15) comprising a cylinder portion and a lock bit (16) protruding laterally therefrom. A lock fitting plate (1) and a clamping plate (4) can be placed on two opposite faces of a door leaf (21) in the area of an edge recess (20) of the door leaf (21). The lock fitting plate (1) is arranged as a flat plate and includes a receiving window (2) to receive the portion of the lock cylinder (15) comprising the lock bit (16). The lock bit (16) is rotatable in the receiving window (2). A sliding member (9) is fitted at the bottom of the receiving window (2) and comprises an extendable and retractable locking bolt (10), the sliding member (9) with the locking bolt (10) being displaceable in the receiving window (2) to either a locked or open position by the lock bit (16) engaging the sliding member (9). The lock fitting plate (1) including the receiving window (2) and the clamping plate (4) are manufactured by extrusion.
