The agricultural machine such as a tractor has a guidance system so that a track (6) may be followed. Mounted on the tractor is a carrier arm (1) for a number of sensors (3). The arm is positioned over the track and is adjusted by an actuator (5) via a linkage. The sensor outputs are used to control the steering so that the machine follows the track.
