PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic time piece provided with an electricity generation means which makes it possible to drive the time piece in a short time from the state that the voltage of charge accumulation means being charged is lower than the time piece drive voltage. SOLUTION: This electronic time piece has a charging source 1 as an electricity generation means, a first charge accumulation means 2 as main power source charged by the charging source, a second charge accumulation means 3 charged by the voltage of the main power source and an electric load 1. When the voltages of the first and the second charge accumulation means 2, 3 are lower than the functioning voltage of a drive control circuit 5, the electric load 7 is connected in series between the charging source 1 and the first charge accumulation means 2, the voltage of the first charge accumulation means 2 and the voltage due to the voltage drop of the electric load are charged in the second charge accumulation means 3, and the drive control circuit 5 is functioned in a short time. |
