摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enhance a thermal efficiency and to raise a removing efficiency of adhered oil content when metal having a low melting point is recovered and separated as melted metal from different type metal mixture scrap by utilizing a difference of melting points of metals. CONSTITUTION:A burner 3 is opposed directly to a rotary kiln 10, and a lift plate 15 is mounted circumferentially in the kiln. For example, when mixture scrap of aluminum and iron is charged in the kiln 10, the aluminum is efficiently melted by a direct flame, transmitted along a lowermost surface in the kiln 10, and, dropped from screens 18a, 18b. On the other hand, since heating of the burner 3 is so maintained that the iron is not heated to its melting point or higher, the iron is repeatedly scraped up and dropped by the plate 15 and discharged from the screens 18a, 18b or an outlet 16. In this case, adhered oil content of scrap is effectively burned due to direct flame.</p>
