An optical fiber equipped with a cladding, comprising a wire-drawn glass fiber, and primary and secondary claddings applied simultaneously to the outer periphery of the glass fiber and formed by photo-curing primary cladding resin and secondary cladding resin, respectively, wherein adhesion power S (g/cm) of an interface between the primary cladding resin after curing and the glass fiber varies at a rate of at least 1/13 g/cm per glass transition temperature Tg ( DEG C) of the secondary cladding resin after curing.
