A combination clinical specimen collection kit and shipping means, including packaging components, is provided, which is uniquely adapted and acceptable for shipment and delivery through regular first-class mailing-delivery systems, for both domestic and overseas purposes. The kit comprises two vials (12, 14) and a rectangular cushion block (30) having two cylindrical recesses for receiving the vials.
