The method involves dividing a fundamental period of the optimised pulse pattern of the three phases, which exists in the form of tables of switching angles for different fundamental amplitudes, into several equidistant sections. At least one switching angle lies independently of the fundamental amplitude in each section, in at least two phases. The sampling of the phase currents synchronously with the pulse pattern takes place at the beginning of the equidistant sections.
