Fibre suspension cleaning assembly

The assembly to clean a fibre suspension, for papermaking, has an eddy sifter (1) with a tangential inlet (1.1) and an outlet for heavy impurities (1.2) at one end, and an outlet for usable material at the other end. A centrifugal sifter (2) has a sieve basket (2.1) of rotational symmetry with a sorting blade (2.2) moving over its inner surface, also with an outlet for usable material. A station (3) for the removal of flecks has a fixed sieve disc (3.1) in the flow of material rejected by the centrifugal unit (2), with a rotor moving over its inflow side. The sieve disc (3.1) is between an inflow (3.3) and outflow (3.4) chamber with an outlet (3.6) for usable material. The stations (1-3) are coaxial to each other and work directly in series, to form a component group unit. Also claimed is an operation to clean fibre suspensions, where the initial flow is delivered at a tangent into the eddy sifter (1), where the heavy impurities pass out at one end and the usable material flows from the other end directly into a centrifugal sifter with a sieve basket (2.1) of rotational symmetry. It has a rotor moving round its inner surface, and an outlet for usable material, and also an outflow of rejected matter which passes directly into a fleck removal station (3) with a sieve (3.1) and a rotor (3.2) over the inflow side of the sieve.
