Folded parallelepiped carton for holding bottles, cans etc.

The carton is brick-shaped and is formed from a punched blank consisting of four flat sides (1-4), and a number of parallel fold lines. Two of the sides (1,4) are joined by a glued tab formed as an extension of the fourth side. The top and bottom of the carton are formed with flaps (5-8,5a-8a). The carton blank has three fold lines (10-21) between each of the four flat sides, to form two flattened corners having smaller sections. There is only one fold line between each flap, which is provided with only one cut line. The cut line is aligned with the centre fold line between each pair of sides. Each end of the cut line between the flaps is cut to form a triangular punch-out. The hypotenuse of the punch-out runs between the end of the outer fold lines between the sides.
