Opening vehicle roof with movable wind deflector

The roof has a vehicle-mounted cross strut (9) to carry a wind deflector blade (3), which is formed by a single profiled part. The front edge (10) of the profile is connected via a first sealing element (11) to the roof skin (14) or the windscreen. Positioned next to that front edge is a recessed combined seal holder/water channel (15a) for a hollow chamber seal (12). The seal engages with the front edge (7) of the wind deflector blade. Located next to this is a transitional part (21,26), above the base level (15b) of the seal holder/water channel, and a holder chamber (24) below that level, for a roller blind (25), to cover neighbouring glass/moveable roof sections.
