A rolling machine for product end pointing incorporates two parallel cylindrical rolls (1) provided with grooves for rolling primary ends of bars. The machine comprises: (a) the rolls (1) installed in a closed, one-piece roll stand (6); (b) the required clamping force on the roll bearing units (8) being produced by wedges (7) which, when displaced horizontally, transfer vertical forces to the units (8), via mating inclined planes.
