Covered sprung cushion body

The cushion body comprises a spring arrangement with a thermoplastic covering. The springs used can be of the cylindrical steel pressure type, barrel springs, blunt conical springs, waist springs or of the non-iron type. They have a minimum height of 3 cm, are at least four in number and are arranged so that they are cover the whole surface. Where steel pressure cylindrical springs are used, they have an outer diameter of approximately 30 mm and a wire thickness of 2 mm. The springs can be concentrated in the seat area, whereby the remainder of the cushion surface can consist of foam material. The springs need to be covered with a solid material so that they do not show though the cover material.
