The method involves using a precast holder (5) to connect two parts of the brake calliper (2): a claw (3) and a hydraulic actuator (4). The holder is integrally cast into the claw, so that a positioning bridge (7) of the holder forms the interface between the claw and the hydraulic actuator. The holder consists of the positioning bridge and at least one connecting element, which is fixed to the bridge. The connecting element consists of a threaded part, a radially fixed centre part and a cast part.
