The bearing element (1) consists of a baseplate, abduction cone, two flexible hip pads and two circularly placed belts. The shape of the foam abduction cone is in proportion to the width of the hip. The anatomical shape of the abduction cone allows the thigh to be mounted free of pressure. The side of the abduction cone facing the stomach, running parallel from top to bottom incorporates two arms.
