<p>A nitrogen oxides detection element, that is, a semiconductor type sensor which can detect nitrogen oxides with good durability and selectivity for a long period of time in spite of other obstructive gas (CO, H2) has not been available, although the detection of nitrogen oxides making use of a semiconductor type gas sensor has been expected. So, this sensor element has come to be able to detect the nitrogen oxides by providing a gas detector with oxides including Bi in specified quantity or over, and putting this gas detector in a temperature range where electron conductivity can be exhibited.</p> |
