Modular television set with control unit

The modular television set includes a key control unit which detects a key signal which is used to control the television set. A microcomputer is provided which controls the function card which are arranged in the television set and determines if the cards are arranged in the television. A connection unit connects the microcomputer and the function card. A storage is connected to the microcomputer and stores the functional states of the function card.
