<p>1509647 Band damp TRIDON-SERFLEX SA 4 June 1976 [4 June 1975] 23269/76 Heading E2B [Also in Division B3] A screw type band clamp comprises a flexible metal band 11 which has been hot or cold stamped to force material of the collar outwardly along its edges to form transverse shoulders 32, these shoulders and the recesses 34 therebetween provide a firm location for the clamp's saddle housing 12 which is secured to the band by bending lugs 40 under the band (Fig. 7) at the point of the recesses 34. To facilitate stamping openings 80 (Fig. 16) may be first stamped out of the band.</p> |
