Pharmaceutical composition comprises: (i) a haptenised antigen (I); (ii) antibody (Ab) against the hapten, and (iii) carrier or diluent. The composition is used in humans to prevent ot treat autoimmune disease (involving unwanted immune reaction induced by (I)), and the components are administered simultaneously, separately or in phases.
