Locking/unlocking means comprising a low cost actuator

The lock has an actuator for a low-powered electric motor with a rotary latch (3) on its shaft (11) capable of rotation between locked and unlocked positions. Retaining elements (31,32) hold the latch in each of the two positions. The retaining elements comprise an elastic tongue (31) and a peg (32) which interact in both the locked and unlocked positions. The motor can be rotated in either direction according to the electrical supply.
