In a process for producing a food product based on meat or proteins of animal-or vegetable origin an emulsion is prepared, as a first step, from base materials b y comminuting and emulsifying the base materials. In the next processing step, the emulsion is loaded into a filling device, from which the emulsion then exits in the form of a single strand or numerous parallel strands. In a further step, the str and or the strands of the emulsion is/are cooked. The cooked strands of the emulsion ar e then cut by a cutting device into shorter strips preferably having a length of a few centimeters and subsequently deep-frozen and packaged. |
