Lifting apparatus

The lifting apparatus includes a fixed part (2) fixed at a high place and a lifting part (1) comprising an installation to be installed at the fixed part. A power source (4) moves up the lifting part and is suspended from the fixed part so that it can move up and down. A locking device locks the lifting part to the fixed part. The locking device comprises a releasing member for releasing the locking of the lifting part and the fixed part. The releasing member has a solenoid for releasing the locking of the lifting part and the fixed part by electromagnetic force.
