PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an optical disk having a reflective film excellent in corrosion resistance and high in reflectivity and low in cost by constituting the disk by incorporating a reflective layer laminating in order a metallic oxide film containing In and Ag and a metallic thin film containing In and Ag on a transparent substrate. SOLUTION: The disk is formed by laminating in order a recording layer 3 consisting of a dyestuff thin film using cyanine based dyestuff, squarylium based dyestuff, etc., the reflective film 4 consisting of an In-Ag metallic oxide film 5 and an In-Ag metallic thin film 6 and a resin made protective layer 7. Among these, the In-Ag metallic thin film 6 is composed of the thin film having the composition containing 0.1-20 atomic % In and 80-99.9 atomic % Ag. When the In content is less than 0.1 atomic % or the Ag content is more than 99.9 atomic %, the material is inferior in the corrosion resistance and the reflectivity is deteriorated by aging. And when the In content is more than 20 atomic % and the Ag content is less than 80 atomic %, the reflectivity is low from the beginning of production. |
