PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can separate pins of a package from a socket contact with a small force and which allows visual inspection of the soldered part. SOLUTION: A connector is equipped with a stationary contact 10 connected to a printed board 60, a base insulator 20 to admit insertion of the stationary contact 10, and a cover insulator 30 provided with a plurality of pin inserting holes 31 which guide pins 71 of a package 70 to the stationary contact 10, wherein a drive insulator 40 capable of relative movement with a base insulator 20 and the cover insulator 30 and a movable contact 50 to clamp the pins 71 and stationary contact 10 when the pins 71 are inserted through the holes 31 are provided between the base insulator 20 and cover insulator 30, and the movable contact 50 is supported on the base insulator 20 rotatably. The arrangement should include a plurality of such drive insulators 40 as mentioned, and they 40 are driven independently.
