PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a wide band by converting optical signals from an optical waveguide from optical monophase signals to optical differential signals in the stage of light, photoelectrically converting the differential signals and performing distribution type differential amplification to electric signals after the photoelectric conversion. SOLUTION: Signals 15 inside an optical fiber propagated inside the optical fiber 11 are inputted to an optical monophase signal/optical differential signal conversion part 12. In the optical monophase signal/optical differential signal conversion part 12, the optical differential signals (16 and 17) are generated from the optical monophase signals. Normal phase Optical output signals 16 and opposite phase optical output signals 17 outputted from the optical monophase signal/optical differential signal conversion part 12 are propagated inside the optical waveguides 20 and 21 and inputted to a photoelectric conversion part 13. In the photoelectric conversion part 13, the respective optical signals are respectively converted to the electric signals and normal phase electric signals 18 and opposite phase electric signals 19 are respectively outputted from the photoelectric conversion part 13. Differential output signals are amplified to a fixed amplitude in a distribution type gain variable differential amplification part 14. Thus, the wide band is secured. |
