PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a system to inform a content of a specific destination to the user, when a communication request is made from the specific destination. SOLUTION: A communication terminal equipment 20, having a telephone function or the like and provided to general households or the like registers in advance telephone numbers of specific destinations (center to which a mail box is installed or the like) to its telephone number memory 24. When a phone call is placed to the communication terminal equipment 20 via a public line network 1, data of a caller telephone number sent at first are compared with a telephone number stored in the telephone number memory 24 in order to discriminate whether or not they match. When they do not match, the call is connected to a telephone section 23, in which general telephone connection is made. When they match, the arrival of an electronic mail to the user of the communication terminal equipment 20 is displayed by a display section 25, based on that the phone call comes from a host where a mail box is installed. Actual line connection (the user hooks off the handset or the like) is not allowed. A control section 21 controls the processing as above. |
