PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically designate the attribute items and also to automatically input the attribute value by extracting the attribute value from the attribute items of each document and storing these documents after registering the extracted attribute value in response to the document storage instruction that is defined in a workflow. SOLUTION: In a certain workflow pattern No. <01>, a regular document (a) is first processed in a cell A and then the data are decided and inputted in regard to a plant name and the budget character, i.e., the attribute items. The regular documents (b) and (c) are processed in the cells B and C respectively, and the attribute data on both documents (b) and (c) are decided and outputted. When a storage command is produced in the final cell, an attribute item link table is referred to for extraction of the attribute items of each regular document. Then the attribute value of every attribute item is extracted from a document DB, etc., and the extracted attribute value is registered in an attribute value DB which stores the documents independently of the linked attribute items. Thereby, the attribute items and their attribute value can be automatically acquired for each document. |
