PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the transitional simultaneous turning-on of two transistors of a separately-controlled inverter, series modified half bridge circuit. SOLUTION: A capacitor C1 and coil 14 which is a primary winding of a transformer TR2 are connected in series between a connection point at which two NPN transistors Q1 and Q2 are connected in series between positive and negative terminals of a power source E and a negative terminal of the power source E, and a capacitor C2 and an electric-discharge lamp LMP are connected in series to a coil L5 which is a secondary winding of TR2. The oscillating voltage of a rectangular wave pulse voltage oscillation circuit OSC1 is applied to a coil L1 which is a primary winding of a transformer TR1, and the coils L2, L3 which are the secondary windings of TR1 which are wound with inverse polarity are connected to a base and an emitter of Q1 and Q2 through Zener diodes ZD1, ZD2 whose cathode is on the coil side and resistors R1 and R2, and the action of turning on Q1 and Q2 is retarded, and the transitional simultaneous turning-on of Q1 and Q2 can be prevented. |
