PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element preventing oxidization of a metal electrode and having superior operation stability and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A laminating body consisting of an ITO translucent electrode 25 formed on a substrate 26, an organic layer, and a metal electrode 21 is coated by a container in which an ultraviolet-ray curing resin 29 is applied to a rim of a glass plate 28 provided with a through hole, the ultraviolet-ray curing resin is adhered to the substrate 26, after which a nitrogen gas is implanted in a space in the container from the through hole and seals the through hole. Thereby, the air in the container is removed, and oxidation of the metal electrode can be prevented. |
